Terry Godwin has left the team, plans to transfer
--ATHENS, GA-- Georgia sophomore wide receiver Terry Godwin has reportedly left the team according to sources close to UGA Athletics. Godwin finished the season second on the team in receptions, second only to Isaiah McKenzie, however amassed no receiving touchdowns over the course of the season. His only TD of the season came in an October 9 matchup against South Carolina, where Godwin stepped in front of the Gamecock's front-line, fielded an onside kick, and took it all the way to the end-zone to seal the game. Kirby Smart criticized the play in a postgame interview, perhaps early signs of bad blood between the two. Godwin himself was unavailable for comment, but it's been noted that he plans to finish out the academic semester, however will not make the bowl game trip. Godwin leaves UGA having accumulated 72 receptions, 773 yards, and two reception TDs in two years as a Bulldog. Georgia's bowl game will be announced on ESPN's Bowl Selection Show this coming Sunday.
